Jack Daniel’s Does The Beer Barrel Whiskey Polka

Jack Daniel’s adds to their limited edition Tennessee Taster’s Series with the release of Barrel Proof Rye and Reunion Barrel #2.

Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof Rye – the first rye in the series – has been bottled at 63.8% alcohol by volume [127.6 proof] (63.8% abv) with a 70% rye grain bill and is said to contain notes of fruit and toasted oak.

Jack Daniel’s Reunion Barrel #2 has been finished in oatmeal stout beer barrels and is said to contain notes of coffee, chocolate-covered cherries and vanilla.

Only 24,000 bottles of Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof Rye and Reunion Barrel #2 are being made available for $40 per 375ml bottle – however, while Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof Rye is available now [in Tennessee], Jack Daniel’s Reunion Barrel #2 will not be officially released until Autumn 2019.
