Jim Beam Set To Get Barreled And Boxed
Beam Suntory-owned Jim Beam is about to get Barreled and Boxed – their term for their entrance into the subscription whiskey box business.
Jim Beam’s Barreled and Boxed will consist of quarterly direct-to-consumer deliveries of two bottles of bourbon from their James B. Beam Distilling unit – the first arrivals are scheduled for Autumn 2021 – two rare Little Book blended American Whiskies [$270 – with future shipments expected to be in the $150-$300 range].
Jim Beam’s Barreled and Boxed will only be offered 500 people in the Kentucky and Washington, D.C. areas, but Beam says they are planning to expand the offerings in 2022.
Jim Beam Barreled and Boxed subscribers also receive a live virtual tasting event and a tour of the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky [once it re-opens to the public].
