Laphroaig – Nobody Does This

Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky is rolling out their annual [begun in 2014] tasting sessions where people – generally non-whisky drinkers – taste the peaty whisky for the first time and proceed to blurt out their opinions of what they just put into their mouths – this time, the theme is “A First for Friends.”

The video shows the unscripted reactions of each person within five different pairs of real friends, as they sample the whisky for the first time – with fairly predictable resulting comments such as: “I think I’d rather have my leg cut off,” “[Tastes like it’s] aged with a yoga mat” and “It’s just like sucking on a sock.” [Though there are a couple complimentary comments sprinkled in for fairness.]
