Livingstone Introduces Act II Of Shakespeare Series
London-based independent whisky company Livingstone has debuted the second act in their collection of whiskies inspired by William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy “Macbeth”. Livingstone’s Macbeth Act II features eight limited edition single malt whiskies with each bottle featuring character drawings by illustrator Sir Quentin Blake. Livingstone’s Macbeth Collection is planned to showcase five acts, representing 42 characters from Shakespeare’s Scottish play.
Livingstone’s Macbeth Collection Act II features Lord Macduff’s character on 100 bottles of a Islay 45-year-old Bunnahabhain single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40.8% alcohol by volume [81.6 proof] and featuring notes of fruit and barley sugar.
Also included in Livingstone’s Macbeth Collection Act II are a bottle representing the character of Lennox – a 27-year-old single malt from Glentauchers Distillery, a bottle representing the character of Ross [a 28-year-old Scotch from Ben Nevis Distillery], a bottle representing Young Siward [an 18-year-old whisky from Highland Park Distillery], a bottle representing the Second Witch [a 26-year-old Islay Scotch whisky distilled in both bourbon and sherry casks], a bottle representing the Second Murderer [a 17-year-old whisky from Jura], a bottle representing the Servant [a 14-year-old whisky from Clynelish Distillery] and a bottle representing the Soldier [a 12-year-old single malt from Speyside’s Benrinnes Distillery].
Livingstone’s The Macbeth Collection Act II will be made available in Canada, China, Europe, Japan, Taiwan and the UK beginning March 13, 2025 for a price range of $105 to $2,520 per bottle [depending on the bottle].
