Lochlea Reveals Their Oldest Whisky
Scottish distillery Lochlea has released a limited edition seven-year-old single estate whisky – their oldest whisky ever – and third age-statement release.
Not surprisingly, Lochlea Seven Years Old is a single malt born from seven distinct first-fill bourbon casks, bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and – also not surprisingly – is said to impart a myriad of notes representing those casks, including apple, buttery pastry, oak, spice and tropical fruits.
Lochlea Seven Years Old is being made available beginning next week for $120 per bottle.
