MacNair’s Introduces Lum Reek Peated Whisky Range

MacNair’s has introduced their Lum Reek range – a trio of whiskies which includes a no-age-statement, 12-year-old and a 21-year-old.

All three whiskies are blended malts containing peated Islay and peated Speyside whiskies and have been bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof].

The range’s name is a reference to a Scottish toast ‘lang may yer lum reek’, which translates as ‘long may your chimney smoke’ and is used to wish someone a long life and prosperity.

MacNair’s Lum Reek no-age-statement is being made available for $55 per bottle, MacNair’s Lum Reek 12-Year-Old for $66 per bottle and MacNair’s Lum Reek 21-Year-Old for $165 per bottle.
