Redbreast Irish Whiskey Salutes Sherry With Lustau

Redbreast has launched a new expression for its Irish single pot still whiskey – Lustau – finished in first-fill sherry butts and matured with Oloroso sherry from Jerez, Spain.

Although it is initially matured initially in both ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, Redbreast Lustau has been finished for one year in prized sherry butts from Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, the widely-acknowledged sherry capital of the world. Redbreast Lustau is bottled at 46% alcohol by volume and is said to contain notes of fruit, marzipan and oak.

Redbreast Lustau is available for $70 per bottle beginning in October 2016.
