Stella Artois Debuts Aluminum Bottles
Anheuser-Busch InBev-owned Stella Artois intends to introduce aluminum bottles – with some of the proceeds going toward the James Beard Foundation’s Open For Good program [which helps restaurants struggling to stay open during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic].
The new bottle is bright green with a distinct red Stella Artois logo – giving it a resemblance to both Heineken’s aluminum and glass bottles – which feature the color green along with Heineken’s red star logo.
Stella Artois’s bottle also features a QR code in the shape of a chalice on the rear of the bottle that allows patrons learn about the fund and nominate restaurants to be on the receiving end of assistance.
The new bottles will show up exclusively at on-premise locales like restaurants and bars.
