Teeling Adds 13-Year-Old Single Grain
Irish whiskey producer Teeling Distillery has released a 13-year-old Irish single grain whiskey distilled predominantly from maize.
Teeling 13-Year-Old Single Grain Irish Whiskey was initially aged for nine years in ex-bourbon barrels before being matured four more years in ex-Bordeaux red wine casks, then bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to contain notes of cherries, honey and vanilla.
Teeling 13-Year-Old Single Grain Irish Whiskey is being made available – from the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin – and Ireland for $100 per 700ml bottle.
