Teeling Introduces 12-Year-Old Cognac-Casked Irish Whiskey
Teeling has released Teeling Whiskey Explorers Edition – a cognac-casked Irish whiskey made with a blend of 12-year-old malt and grain Irish whiskies.
Teeling Explorers Edition initially aged for 12-years, then malt and grain whiskeys were blended together and spent their final maturation days in ex-cognac casks before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of apples, coconut and honey.
Only 6000 bottles of Teeling Whiskey Explorers Edition is being made available in travel retail venues in the UK for $100 via a 700ml gift pack.
