The Glover 18 Makes Its Way To The World
The Glover 18 – a blend of Scottish and Japanese whiskies – is now available to the whisky-drinking world. The whisky brand takes its name from Thomas Blake Glover, who was nicknamed the Scottish Samurai because of the profound impact he had on the modernization of Japan in the 19th century.
The Glover 18 is a combination of whisky from Scottish distilleries Longmorn and Glen Garioch paired with rare whisky from the Hanyu distillery in Japan is bottled at 48.6% alcohol by volume [97.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, cherry and pear.
Only 1448 bottles of The Glover 18 will be available for $190 per bottle.
