The Macallan has collaborated with tea brand Jing to release a pair of tea-themed single malt whiskies – Inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea and Inspired by Cherrywood Lapsang Tea – as part of their Harmony Collection.
The Macallan Inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea mimics the orchid used for oolong tea, traditionally grown in the Phoenix Mountain range of Guangdong, China.
The Macallan Inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea was bottled at 43.9% alcohol by volume [87.8 proof] and is being made available for $200 per bottle.
The Macallan Inspired by Cherrywood Lapsang Tea has been matured in sherry-seasoned European oak casks along with sherry-seasoned American oak casks, was bottled at 44.9% alcohol by volume [89.8 proof] and is being made available exclusively in global travel retail [GTR] venues beginning in October 2025.
