Virginia Distillery Reveals Trio Of Whiskies
Family-owned American single malt whiskymaker Virginia Distillery Company has unveiled a trio of limited edition whiskies.
Virginia Distillery First Cut Cigar Blend made from 100% malted barley, matured for a minimum of seven years in various casks, bottled at 54% alcohol by volume [108 proof] and is specifically designed to pair with a cigar.
Virginia Distillery Brewer’s Coalition 4 Hands Madagascar Stout Cask Finish is a single malt whisky that results from a collaboration with 4 Hands Brewing Company from St Louis, Missouri, has been matured for more than five years in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in Madagascar Stout barrels, then bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to offer notes of dark chocolate, ginger and raspberries.
Virginia Distillery Brewer’s Coalition North Coast is a collaboration with northern California’s North Coast Brewing Company and was matured more than five years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Old Rasputin Stout casks, then bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to offer notes of almond, citrus and honey.
All three whiskies are being made available via the distillery’s official website as well as select retailers nationwide in the USA.
