The Singleton Unveils Sunray And Tailfire

The world was made two whiskies richer when The Singleton announced the arrival of a pair of single malt Scotch whiskies – Sunray and Tailfire. Sunray has been matured for longer periods of time in toasted Bourbon casks, resulting in intense honey, vanilla and baked apple notes. Tailfire, meanwhile, has spent more time in European oak casks, producing notes of berry, vanilla and cut grass [whether this is considered an advantage is up to you and your palette].

Sunray [$60] will be available in western European markets this month while Tailfire [$55] will be available in the western European market beginning in July 2014.
