Tomatin Creates Seventh Cu Bocan
Highland-based Tomatin Distillery has released Creation #7 – the seventh version of Cù Bòcan, their annually-created experimental single malt which celebrates their peated whisky production at the distillery.
Tomatin Cù Bòcan Creation #7 was matured in both Pineau des Charentes Rouge and American virgin oak casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to produce notes of cinnamon, custard, heather smoke and rhubarb [not a note you hear of being produced every day].
Only a mere 3000 bottles of Tomatin Cù Bòcan Creation #7 are being made available worldwide – nearly half of them in the UK – for $60 per bottle.
