Whiskey Girl Is Comic-Con 2013 Afterparty Stop
Usually, whiskey and Comic-Con don’t hold hands but it’s 2013 and whiskey is hot, hot, hot and with Comic-Con 2013 a mere week and a half away – like you didn’t know – there’s even more opportunity for whiskey to be a gateway drink for 25-year olds than ever before. Especially since the San Diego bar Whiskey Girl [located at 702 Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter] is the proud holder of one of the Comic-Con 2013 afterparties. Beginning at 7pm and ending at 10pm on July 21, 2013, a mere $5 cover charge will admit you to a Comic-Con 2013 afterparty including Josh Keaton [voice actor for “Transformers” and “Green Lantern” television series], Jon St. John [the voice of video game “Duke Nukem” and Captain Magnus in MMO “Guild Wars 2”] as well as the original Black Power Ranger from the “Power Rangers” television series, Walter Emanuel Jones. If that still is not enough reason to wedge yourself into a club with sweaty young men and women, there is always the bar which touts 26 varieties of bourbon, 17 single malts, Evan Williams Honey and Georgia Moon Shine.
Comic-con 2013 will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 18-21, 2013.
