Whisky Glass Emoji Being Considered For 2016

A whisky glass tumbler is being considered as a possible new emoji symbol by the Unicode Technical Committee, a branch of the international Unicode Consortium who decides which emojis get the green light. The whisky glass is one of 67 new emojis up for consideration by the committee. The committee will select the emojis who make the cut in May 2016.

Emojis selected by the committee will be officially available beginning in June 2016.
