Whistlepig Unveils 30-Year-Old

Vermont-based distillery WhistlePig has released the BigShǝBàng – a 30-year-old single malt whiskey.

Whistlepig The BigShǝBàng was matured for 30 years in American oak before a brief one month stint of finishing in Vin Santo casks [Vin Santo is an Italian dessert wine], bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof] and is said to impart notes of almond, dark chocolate and oak.

Only 600 bottles of Whistlepig The BigShǝBàng are being made available for the whopping price of $5,000 per bottle.
