Woodford Reserve Reserves Time For Madeira Cask Finish
Woodford Reserve has released a new blended bourbon finished in fortified wine casks from Portugal – Madeira Cask Finish – as part of their Master’s Collection [the 20th in the series].
Woodford Reserve Madeira Cask Finish blends bourbon, rye and wheat whiskies that were finished in Madeira barrels with Woodford’s straight wheat whiskey, bottled at 45.2% alcohol by volume [90.4 proof] and is said to contain notes of brown sugar, cherry, cranberry and walnut.
Woodford Reserve Madeira Cask Finish is being made available for $170 per 700ml bottle in Kentucky, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota and Washington DC.
