Writers’ Tears Offers Single Pot Still Whisky

Writers’ Tears Irish whiskey – produced by Walsh Whiskey – has released their first single pot still whiskey.

Writers’ Tears Single Pot Still is matured in a combination of former bourbon, Spanish Pedro Ximinez sherry and Sicilian Florio Marsala casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of spice and toffee apples.

Only 5,800 bottles of Writers’ Tears Single Pot Still are being made available in France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK for $67.50 per bottle beginning in October 2021- while the USA will be the recipient of a second larger release in 2022.
