Tomatin Adds A Trio Of Travel Whiskies
Tomatin is introducing a trio of travel whiskies – whiskies only available at duty-free retail establishments around the world. The trio are an 8-Year-Old, a 15-Year-Old and a 40-Year-Old – joining the 12-Year-Old already available at such locations.
The Tomatin 8-Year-Old has been matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and will be available for $40 per bottle. The Tomatin 12-Year-Old has been bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and will sell for $45 per bottle. The Tomatin 15-Year-Old has been matured in North American oak barrels, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and will sell for $60 per bottle. The Tomatin 40-Year-Old has been matured in Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and will sell for a whopping $1400 per bottle.
The 12-Year-Old is already available in duty-free locations but the additional trio are expected to become available globally in 2017.
