2024 Global Whisky Challenge Winners
Whisky Mogul Media has announced the winners of the 2024 Global Whisky Challenge. A seasoned panel of professional judges blinded tasted and evaluated all whiskies in the competition. Among the panelists was John Lamond, a Master of Malt from Scotland.
According to Newswires, the Global Whisky Challenge uses a unique system to select its annual champions. The competition divides the world into three parts and then hosts three separate rounds of double-blind tasting. “To do this right, we sliced the world into three sections.
“We conducted three regionalized competitions in Denver in June. We took the nine highest-scored Double Gold winners to New York City. (Here) our senior judges re-tasted, re-evaluated, and painstakingly selected the 2024 Global Whisky Champions.” Explains Wine Country Network CEO and Co-Founder Christopher J Davies in a press release.
