Kilchoman Returns To Bourbon

Islay-based distillery Kilchoman has released 100% Islay 9th Edition – a single malt Scotch whisky that has spent a significant amount of time maturing in former Bourbon barrels.

Kilchoman 100% 9th Edition has been aged for nine years in ex-Bourbon barrels before being bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricots, juniper and vanilla.

Only 12,000 bottles of Kilchoman 100% Islay 9th Edition are being made available worldwide for $90 per 700ml bottle beginning on September 16, 2019.
