The Balvenie And Glenfiddich Distilleries Closed Due To Coronavirus
The Balvenie and Glenfiddich distilleries – both owned by Scotland-based spirits company William Grant & Sons – have been closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement, William Grant & Sons said: “We have taken the precautionary measure to close our visitor centers globally until further notice. However, our distilleries remain operational. We are not aware of any confirmed cases of coronavirus at any William Grant & Sons locations. As this is a fast moving situation, we will not be offering further comment at this time.”
William Grant & Sons also will close their visitor center for their for Tullamore D.E.W. Irish whiskey brand in Ireland.
