Seven Glenlivet Whiskies Bottled By Gordon & MacPhail
UK-based bottler Gordon & MacPhail has bottled seven whiskies from The Glenlivet Distillery as part of their Private Collection and Connoisseurs Choice series.
The Private Collection releases include a 1975 whisky aged in refill sherry hogshead, a 1976 whisky matured in refill American hogshead, a 1976 whisky aged in first-fill sherry hogshead, and a 1980 whisky aged in refill American hogshead.
The 1975 Glenlivet whisky is said to contain notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate and bitter orange and is being made available for $2435 per bottle.
The 1976 Glenlivet whisky aged in refill American hogshead is said to contain notes of green apple, leather, lemon peel and green apple and white chocolate and is being made available for $2085 per bottle.
The 1976 Glenlivet whisky aged in first-fill sherry hogshead is said to contain notes of red berries and is being made available for $2,085 per bottle.
The 1980 Glenlivet whisky is said to contain notes of lemon zest and Seville orange and is being made available for $1,740 per bottle.
The Connoisseurs Choice whiskies consist of a 1993 whisky matured in a refill American hogshead along with a pair of 2003 and 2004 whiskies, both of which have been aged in refill bourbon barrels.
The 1993 Glenlivet whisky is said to contain notes of banana, coconut and grapefruit and is being made available for $370 per bottle.
The 2003 Glenlivet whisky is said to contain notes of grapefruit, pear, pineapple, Seville orange and white pepper and is being made available for $175 per bottle.
The 2004 Glenlivet whisky is said to contain notes of banana, green apples, mango and pineapple and is being made available for $145 per bottle.
