Michter’s Sour Mash Revealed
Louisville-based Michter’s Distillery has revealed the 2025 Edition of their Celebration Sour Mash – claiming it to be one of their ‘rarest’ whiskey releases, the Celebration Sour Mash.
The 2025 Edition Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash originates from a blend of a whopping seven casks – four Kentucky straight rye barrels and three Kentucky straight bourbon barrels – bottled at 57.6% alcohol by volume (115.2 proof) and is said to contain notes of oak.
Only a mere 315 bottles of the 2025 Edition Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash are being made available for $6,000 per bottle.
