Teeling Debuts New Wonders Of Wood Whiskey

Teeling Irish whiskey has released Wonders of Wood Virgin Carpathian Oak – the fourth installment of their Wonders of the Wood series which highlights the use of unique oaks in the Irish whiskey process.

Previous oaks showcased in the Wonders of Wood series were virgin Chinkapin American white oak (2021), virgin Portuguese oak (2022) and virgin Swedish oak (2023).

Teeling Wonders of Wood Carpathian Oak Irish single pot still whiskey has a traditional mash bill of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley, was matured in virgin Carpathian oak casks [sourced from central and eastern European-based Carpathian Mountains], bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to offer notes of apple, pears and sandalwood.

Teeling Wonders of Wood Virgin Carpathian Oak Release is being made available for $95 per bottle.
