Cotswolds Remains Local With Newest Whisky

Good news if you happen to find yourself in the Birmingham area of the UK as English whiskymaker Cotswolds Distillery has launched a limited edition single cask whisky exclusively for Birmingham Airport.

Cotswolds Birmingham whisky was matured in a first-fill reconditioned red wine cask, then bottled at 61.9% alcohol by volume [123.8 proof] and is said to offer notes of cherry, chocolate, cinnamon and fig.

Only a mere 275 bottles of Cotswolds Birmingham – which was made from 100% locally grown Cotswolds barley – are being made available for $130 per bottle, while they last.
