Final Talisker Single Malt Emerges In Connoisseurs Choice Series
Scotland-based independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice series will add their final Talisker single malt – a 39-year-old whisky – to the series.
The Isle of Skye-based Talisker Distillery was matured in a refill sherry butt, bottled at 51.4% alcohol by volume [102.8 proof] and is said to contain notes of black pepper, cloves, cocoa, tangerines and walnuts.
Only 451 bottles of Connoisseurs Choice Talisker 39-Year-Old are being made available worldwide for $1,670 per 700ml bottle.
