Bruichladdich Goes Greener Still

Islay-based Bruichladdich has gone green before and now has gone Greener Still, with the release of their 15-year-old single malt which is an addition to the Still Series, celebrates Bruichladdich’s 25th anniversary and showcases the distillery’s desire to de-carbonize their distillery.

Bruichladdich’s Greener Still is distilled from a combination of organic, biodynamic and Bere barley grown on the Scottish mainland without artificial means, originates from carbon-positive Yatesbury House Farm in Wiltshire, England and which is the only exception to the distillery’s 100% Scottish barley rule.

Bruichladdich Greener Still was matured for 15 years exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, bottled at 51.6% alcohol by volume [103.2 proof] and is said to contain notes of honey, orchard fruit and vanilla.

Bruichladdich Greener Still is being made available for $160 per bottle.
