Beam Suntory to Distribute Ardray Whisky Worldwide
The global whisky distillery and distributor, Beam Suntory, will be distributing its Ardray whisky brand worldwide. The company’s decision to send Adray to the global market follows success in the four largest whisky zones. Earlier, Ardray whisky was only available in four cities: London, Los Angeles, New York, and Shanghai.
However, quoting robust sales and high consumer demand in the US, England, and China, Suntory has decided to go worldwide. The whisky giant worked together with the Scottish distillery Edrington to produce the spirit using ingredients from three regions. namely Highlands, Lowlands, and Islay.
The distillery is known for its unique tastes and distinct flavory blends. In a note posted on the company’s website on July 5, 2023, Suntory defined the new spirit as ‘an exquisite new interpretation of blended Scotch whisky’. The new distribution will include other European countries, Canada, and the Asia Pacific regions.
Suntory – More than Andray Whisky Maker
In addition, Suntory has revamped the presentation of its whisky. The company now offers canned whisky that you can take home like a six-pack of beer or soda. The canned spirit is ready to drink and is a lot easier to carry than the larger bottles. Plus the price has sent its business index climbing.
According to a recent financial outlook published on Statista, the whisky distillery is expected to see a growth forecast reach 3.1 trillion yen. This makes it the third-largest beverage company in the world. Suntory reported an upbeat first half in its 2023 performance with a 10% immediate growth and an extended 24% increase since the COVID-19 pandemic.
