Kentucky-based Buffalo Trace Distillery has gone full proof with the addition of New Orleans-inspired Sazerac Rye Full Proof to their permanent lineup of Sazerac products.

Buffalo Trace’s Sazerac Rye Full Proof Whiskey was bottled at a whopping 62.5% alcohol by volume [125 proof] and despite that, is said to contain notes of dill, rye and smoky oak.

Buffalo Trace Sazerac Rye Full Proof Whiskey is being made available for $40 per 750ml bottle.

Visitors to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, are being offered a tasting experience featuring Sazerac Whiskey Rye Full Proof from November 14-16, 2025.
