Buffalo Trace Sets Out Wares For Antique Shoppers
Looking for that perfect holiday gift for the whisky-o-phile in your midst? What a coincidence! Buffalo Trace was thinking the exact same thing when they announced the release of their 2013 Antique Collection. The Antique collection consists of five bottles each of Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old [distilled in 1993], uncut, unfiltered George T. Stagg [128.2 proof – 64.1% alcohol content – and distilled in 1997], Sazerac Rye 18-Year-Old [mellow spice, vanilla sweetness, mint and dry finish], uncut, unfiltered Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye [128.4 proof – 64.2% alcohol content – and distilled in 2007] and William Larue Weller, an uncut, unfiltered, wheated bourbon distilled in 2001 that clocks in at 136.2 proof and 68.2% alcohol content.
The Buffalo Trace Antique Collection is available at selected retailers for $70 per bottle.
