Bushmills Brings Out 46-Year-Old Single Malt In Time For St. Patrick’s Day
If you would like to put your Jameson-swilling brethren to shame on St. Patrick’s Day – March 17, 2025 – then Bushmills Distillery has the answer for you, releasing their oldest-ever Irish single malt whiskey, the Bushmills 46 Year Old ‘Secrets of the River Bush’.
Bushmills 46-Year-Old “Secrets of the River Bush” is so named in honoring the River Bush as it travels over beds of black basalt rock – the same volcanic rock as the world-famous Giant’s Causeway located close to the distillery.
Bushmills 46-Year-Old “Secrets of the River Bush” was matured in Oloroso sherry butts, bottled at 46.3% alcohol by volume [92.6 proof] and is said to impart notes of apricot, black cherry, caramel, cinnamon, clove, coffee, nutmeg and toffee.
Only 300 bottles of Bushmills 46 Year Old ‘Secrets of The River Bush’ are being made available worldwide for $12,500 per bottle.
