Special Decoration of Glen Grant’s 70 Year Old Whisky
Delving into Malcolm’s viewpoint, we find that the whisky bottle is one of the most unique in the world. Each bottle has its own decanter. seven decanters in all. The main shapes are like gems, supported by a circular floral design. There are no two similar flowers but are selected from a rose to an orchid to a begonia – honoring the queen’s life.
In addition, there is a matching wooden sculpture with an engraving of the queen’s favorite flower, the lily. The wood was crafted from elm trees planted on Glen Grant’s property.
Furthermore, not all seven bottles will be available at the auction. According to Malcolm, only the first decanter will be showcased via Sotheby’s from September 11 to 22. Proceeds are expected to go to the Royal Scottish Forestry Society. The remaining six bottles will be available in October in select markets.
