Glenmorangie Whisky Launches Triple Cask Reserve
A new Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve (40% ABV) has been launched to complement the brand’s core range. Bourbon casks add ‘fruity smoothness’ to the whisky, while charred oak casks add ‘richer, fuller notes’.
Glenmorangie master blender Gillian Macdonald said: “By uniting these three different cask types in Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve, we have created a deeply harmonious whisky.
This whiskey is aged in rye whiskey casks which result in notes of clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. On the nose, you can detect pears, vanilla, orange peel, honeysuckle, grapefruit, and boiled sweets with a pear flavor. On the palate, you will taste crème brûlée, cherry chocolate, fudge, orange sherbet with a tangy flavor, clove, sweet chili, and ripe tropical fruits.

“Using Bourbon and new charred oak, we celebrate our whisky’s classic, fruity sweetness. Laced with the savory notes and subtle spice of rye whiskey casks – seldom used at Glenmorangie – this whisky brings a new balance of flavors to our core range.
“Inspired by the Highlands’ natural splendor, its luscious aromas of pear, candied orange peel, and honeysuckle, and tastes of vanilla, maple syrup, and clove, promise to delight everyone who tries our delicious single malt.”
In addition, a 25-year-old single malt finished in Pommard wine casks was recently released by Glenmorangie exclusively at Heathrow Airport.
The Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve is available in the UK, Germany, France, the US, and South Africa. It can be purchased from UK supermarkets Sainsbury’s and Tesco, as well as the brand’s website.
