Midleton Releases 2020 Very Rare Range

Midleton has released the 2020 version of their Very Rare range – the final range selected by former master distiller Brian Nation, who left in June 2020 after 23 years at the company.

Midleton Very Rare 2020 is the 37th edition in the annual range and features single pot still and single grain whiskeys aged from 13 to 35 years in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels.

The Midleton Very Rare 2020 edition are bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and are said to contain notes of cane sugar, nutmeg, orange peel, pear and vanilla.

The Midleton Very Rare 2020 Edition is being made available to buy currently online and in Ireland only but will launch later in Australia, Canada, Germany, UK and the USA for $210.
