Bruichladdich Jumps Into RTD Pool For Summer
Islay-based Bruichladdich Distillery is jumping into the ready-to-drink (RTD) pool for summer in a collaboration with Whitebox that will feature four canned cocktails.
The Bruichladdich/Whitebox RTD’s consist of a Whisky Sour [made with Bruichladdich’s Classic Laddie] canned at 19% alcohol by volume [38 proof], a Dry Martini [33.9% alcohol by volume – 67.8 proof], a White Negroni [21.8% alcohol by volume – 43.6 proof and made with Bruichladdich’s The Botanist Gin] and The Penicillin, made with the distillery’s heavily peated Port Charlotte whisky, with added honey, ginger and lemon to the tune of 22.5% alcohol by volume [45 proof].
Only 5000 cans of each Bruichladdich/Whitebox RTD are being made available for $8 per can or $25 per four-pack from the official Bruichladdich Distillery website.
