Tomatin has released their limited edition Moscatel-finished single malt whisky. Tomatin Moscatel was aged 15 years and finished in first-fill Portuguese Moscatel wine barriques for five of those years before being bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof]. Only 6000 bottles of the limited edition Tomatin Moscatel will be available worldwide for $100 per bottle.

Buchanan’s has released their Buchanan’s Select 15-Year-Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky – a blend of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from Scotland that has been matured for at least 15 years. Buchanan’s Select has been bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and is said to contain notes of toasted oak, caramel, walnut, apple and pear.
