Glenmorangie has released Glenmorangie Pride 1974 – a limited edition whisky aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks for 41 years. Glenmorangie Pride 1974 was bottled at 52% alcohol by volume [104 proof] and is said to contain notes of caramel, oranges and toffee. Only 503 decanters of Glenmorangie Pride 1974 have been made available at a price of $9,000 per decanter.
Tamdhu 50-Year-Old Revealed
A Tamdhu 50-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky has been unleashed upon the general worldwide populace. Tamdhu 50 has been matured for the entire 50 years in a first fill European oak sherry cask. However, only a scant 100 bottles of Tamdhu 50-Year-Old will be made available for the bargain basement price of $20,000 per bottle [which may partially be due to the sterling silver included in its packaging].
Norfolk Emerges From The English Whisky Company
The English Whisky Company, based, appropriately, in Norfolk, has released a new single grain whisky, they call – even more appropriately – The Norfolk Malt ‘n Rye. The Norfolk Malt ‘n’ Rye has been made with malted barley and rye and matured in bourbon casks before being bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof]. Only 1,962 bottles of The Norfolk Malt ‘n’ Rye are available for $60 per bottle.
Carling Brings Out Black Fruits Cider
Carling has released their newest flavor of cider called Black Fruits. Carling Black Fruits cider will be sold in cans – specifically in packs of four 440 ml and 10 440 ml cans – with a four-pack of 500 ml cans planned for the future. Carling Black Fruits cider will be available in the UK beginning in April 2017.

The Glenturret Jamieson’s Jigger Edition is a cask strength single malt whisky. LeClos has unveiled their unique complete Karuizawa Geisha Series collection of Japanese whisky – which will be on display at the Dubai airport.
