Wolfie’s Whisky – Rod Stewart’s Spirit Turns 1 Year Old
Two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sir Rod Stewart surprised fans last night with a surprise appearance at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, the swanky speakeasy and live music hot spot at The Cosmopolitan.
On Wednesday, Aug. 7, Rod Stewart celebrated his award-winning Wolfie’s Whisky one-year anniversary. At the same time, honoring his upcoming 200th show. More so, the conclusion of his epic 13-year residency “Rod Stewart – The Hits” with family and bandmates.
The singer treated fans to an impromptu a cappella performance of “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.” This was followed by Radio XX, an all-star rock band, singing “Ooh La La” with them. Visitors include Ben Carey (formerly of Lifehouse and Savage Garden), Bryce Soderberg (Lifehouse), Toby Rand (Rockstar Supernova finalist), and drummer Al Serato.
Wolfie’s Whisky Celebrates First Anniversary
Stewart began the evening behind the bar serving shots of Wolfie’s Whisky alongside his business partner Duncan Frew. A large family was present as well, including Penny Lancaster, the rock icon’s wife, and his children, Sean, Liam, and Renee Stewart. Liam’s wife, Nicole Artukovich, and Frew’s wife, Lauren, were also at the wedding.
Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails made with Wolfie’s Whiskey, such as the lavish Rockstar Martini, which is crafted with Wolfie’s Scotch Whiskey, Chambord, blood orange syrup, vanilla syrup, and lime juice.
While on stage, Stewart was presented with an oversized Wolfie’s Whisky cake replica; an oversized replica of the famous beverage. Coated with agave syrup, lime juice, Fire Tincture, mint, and jalapeno, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy is a spicy mix of Wolfie’s Scotch Whisky, agave syrup, lime juice, mint, and jalapeno.
The perfect blend of grain and malt whiskies aged in American oak whiskey barrels. Inspired by Sir Rod’s favorite dessert – warm apple pie. Wolfie’s packs a punch with flavors of cinnamon, vanilla, and baked apples.
