Stella Artois Unveils The Other Dave In Leadup To Super Bowl LIX

Stella Artois teased the existence of English footballer legend David Beckham’s long lost American brother last month in preparation for their new advertisement for Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9, 2025, and now they have issued the big reveal, the long lost American brother from the same mother is none other than…actor Matt Damon.

In the commercial, entitled “Dave and Dave”, Beckham is at a pub with his fictional parents, who break the news to him that he has another brother. The other brother lives in America and is named “Other Dave.” Beckham, who is Stella’s global ambassador, then goes to U.S. to find his long lost brother, which turns out to be Matt Damon (also a Stella ambassador).

The pair of Daves/Stella ambassadors attempt to get to know one another at a backyard BBQ, Other Dave tries to explain the concept of American buffalo wings to the British Dave, who is confused as to why they’re called buffalo wings when they don’t contain any actual buffalo, but all is well as Beckham realizes both he and “Other Dave” like Stella Artois.
