Islay distillery Bruichladdich has unveiled Octomore 6.3 Islay Barley, a heavily-peated single malt whisky using barley exclusively grown on the island of Islay. Octomore 6.3 has been aged five years in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at 64% alcohol content [128 proof]. Bruichladdich has produced 18,000 bottles of Octomore 6.3 Islay Barley.
A limited edition of Blue Hanger 7 blended malt whisky will be available shortly – provided you can get your hands on one of the 3088 bottles dispensed to the public.
