Teeling Introduces 18-Year-Old Single Malt To Their Renaissance Series
Dublin-based Irish whiskey-maker Teeling has released an 18-Year-Old single malt that they are adding to their Renaissance Series – a series which has included whiskies finished in ex-Australian Shiraz wine casks and Madeira casks.
The Teeling 18-year-old single malt is the third whiskey to join the fray and was aged initially in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in ex-Muscat dessert wine casks, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain, not surprisingly, notes of citrus, tropical fruit and mint.
Only 9,000 bottles of Teeling 18-Year-Old Renaissance Series Three are being made available worldwide for $170 per 700ml bottle.
