Tincup American Whiskey Available In The UK
After spending two years in the USA, Tincup whiskey is coming to the UK. The 42% alcohol content [84 proof] whiskey is a blend of corn, rye and malted barley [but with high rye content – 32%] aged in barrels in Indiana, but not Colorado – which is where it is bottled – and comes with a signature metal cup hat in a design honoring Colorado gold miners who typically drank whiskey out of a metal cup.
Tincup American Whiskey will have a significant markup for the UK market, however, as a bottle of Tincup that goes for $25 in the States will carry a suggested retail price near $50 in the UK – though that may drop when it hits supermarket outlets in 2015.
