WhistlePig Opens Up The Vault
Vermont-based WhistlePig has opened The WhistlePig Vault – a collection of their rare bourbons, ryes and single malt whiskies in a former security bank building located in Louisville, Kentucky.
The WhistlePig Vault takes advantage of the building’s former life as a security bank by utilizing the historic bank’s architecture and design details while accentuating the experience with WhistlePig’s collection of collectibles.
Additionally, WhistlePig Vault adds to the overall experience with cocktail service in the Bank Lobby Bar, where visitors may order The Flying Pig – a WhistlePig-specific cocktail made WhistlePig 10 Snout-to-Tail Bourbon – and have it delivered in a pneumatic ATM tube.
Visitors can also visit the Mezzanine Blending Room to create their own blend of WhistlePig Old World Rye – Aged 12 Years or The Whiskey Exchange, where they can dip, seal and stamp their WhistlePig 10 PiggyBank Rye Limited Edition bottles.
