Williams Racing and Coachbuilt Whisky Toast Partnership
Williams Racing and Coachbuilt Whisky announce the release of their co-branded, limited-edition whiskey series. To open the collection, it released an 18-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky aged in ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks at 48% ABV.
According to a statement posted on the William Racing website, the partnership features a blending of innovators. “merging the expertise of Williams Racing in motorsport engineering with the passion for precision and craftsmanship embodied by Coachbuilt.”
Celebrating the launch of the partnership, both companies held a special event at Silverstone. Listening to spokespersons from both sides, there seems to be more than just festivity in the air.
“The launch of our inaugural release is the culmination of my dream to blend my two big passions: racing and Scotch Whisky,” said Jenson Button.
“With that said, racing fans and Scotch collectors have a lot to be excited about, as we bring forward some truly unique whiskies – all beautifully blended to create a smooth and well-balanced sipping experience.”
Wheels and Whisky Forms New Partnership
A true Scotch Whisky pioneer, Coachbuilt sources liquid from all five whisky-producing regions in Scotland. These include Speyside, Highland, Islay, Campbeltown, and Lowlands.
A blend of 100% malted barley whisky, the 18-year-old is reminiscent of orchard fruits, and winter spices on the nose. The palate is characterized by hints of cola, dark chocolate, and cinnamon, with a long, smooth finish. We recommend serving this whisky neat or on the rocks.
In addition, the post outlined purchase locations and availability. It said: ”
Starting today, the whisky will be available for pre-orders at www.masterofmalt.com and at select fine spirits retailers across the UK beginning in August. Coachbuilt Williams 18-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky sells for £230 for a 700ml bottle. Only 3,000 bottles will be released globally.”
Beyond the special editions, the licensing partnership will see the core Coachbuilt edition available for Williams guests in the paddock
