BrewDog Network Turns To Streaming
The BrewDog Network has launched a $5-a-month subscription streaming service that promises to introduce a lineup of cocktail, craft beer, culinary and travel shows — but from a brand marketing perspective -since BrewDog is a craft beer maker with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
BrewDog co-founders James Watt and Martin Dickie previously had their own show on the now-defunct Esquire Network until NBCUniversal pulled the plug.
The BrewDog Network has launched with 14 original series alongside some curated acquisitions. The featured entrees consisting a newly updated version of the original BrewDog Show from their former days on Esquire; “Are You Smarter Than a Drunk Person?” – a quiz show hosted by actress and comedian Alison Becker; “Four Sheets” with comedian Zane Lamprey and “Brown Bag Wine Tasting” – hosted by William Shatner.
The BrewDog Network does not have an announced partnership with any connected TV platforms but their app is available via both Android and iOS devices.
