Glendalough Preps For St. Patrick’s Day In The UK
Irish whiskey brand Glendalough is preparing for the impending arrival of St. Patrick’s Day – on Monday, March 17, 2025 – with a plan to host 35 St Patrick’s Day activations around the UK.
Glendalough-sponsored activations are currently scheduled to be held at London’s The George pub, The London Edition hotel, Manchester’s Salmon of Knowledge, and Glasgow’s Sebb’s.
In the case of The George, festivities will begin on Friday, March 14, 2025 and go through St. Patrick’s Day on Monday and will include live Irish music, an Ireland-themed pub quiz hosted by comedian Peter Flanagan, and live streams of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Six Nations rugby finals pitting Ireland against Italy.
The George will also feature Irish Coffees made with Glendalough’s Double Barrel Whiskey as well as freshly made Origin coffee, cream, and a homemade Guinness reduction. On St Patrick’s Day itself, The George will give away 100 free Irish Coffees on a first-come-first-served basis.
