Glengoyne Gussies Up 18 and 21-Year Olds
Highland-based distillery Glengoyne has released redesigns for both their 18- and 21-year-old single malt whiskies with the updated designs featuring sustainable, fully recyclable packaging sourced just a few miles from the distillery.
Additionally, bottles for both the Glengoyne 18- and 21-year-old are also made from fully recyclable materials and are claimed to use 49% recycled glass.
Glengoyne 18-year-old is matured in Oloroso sherry and refill casks, bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and is said to impart notes of marzipan, orange and walnut. Glengoyne 18-year-old is being made available for $170 per bottle.
Glengoyne 21-year-old Sherry Oak was also bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] but it is said to contain notes of cinnamon, honey and fruit. Glengoyne 21-year-old is being made available for $270 per bottle.
